A suit of armour
stands alone
on a crowded street
many gilded faces
adorn its shining helm
cracks abound
rust creeps
up and in
from its extremities
as well as
a tear
a diamond droplet
falls inside
landing
next to the shriveled
effective corpse
of a child
of a small boy
frozen in fear
of danger that passed
many years past
His voice was deep
Like a distant roll
of ancient thunder
A low rumble
that no one could hear
it had already faded
and disappeared
I’m Done
It’s Gone
I’ve lost lost my will
to go on
and move on,
but I promised myself
that I could never kill,
but everyday is another
struggle within;
I just wanted to let you know that this blog is going to be getting a tad bit more active soon. And by soon I mean as soon as i get off my lazy ass to post my poetry…
