people call Us rejects.
They think Us to be loners;
as stoners
and nothing else
Obsessed with drugs
and living like thugs
They believe We are
stupid and wrong
but what We are is more
We are brilliant and strong
We are creative
We see the world around us
and call it Our oyster
We see it all
from Our own point of view
so We’re different from you
We are still people
They think We are alone
but We are a family
over flowing with empathy
We are loud and proud
We are
Together
when one of Our own is feeling down
We bring them back up
no matter how hard
everything is pulling back
We push on through it
We are champions
winners in the face of adversity
We got challenged to find
a place to call our own
and We over ran it
We fought
Together
as one We surged forward
and tore down the gates that held Us at bay
sure there may be obstacles
but there is nothing to fear
We believe in mIrAcLeS

but don’t ever call Us wrong

because We might have been labeled
as those terrible and hurtful things
